Bergamo is the next stop of our – virtual – trip throughout the Italian towns plagued by the Coronavirus emergency.
Photographer Elisabetta Sofia takes us to the upper part of the town, Città Alta, between Via del Gombito, Via Tassis and Le Mura, beautiful glimpses and windowsills aplenty waving national flags.
Then, her lens explored the new Hospital dedicated to the emergency, recently constructed in the area of Fiera di Bergamo by Italian soldiers Alpini and artisans, that will see at work all the volunteers of Emergency, the Russian army and all the people recruited by Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital of Bergamo.
Lastly, our trip concludes through the main centre streets and squares of Città Bassa: Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazza Pontida and Porta Nuova.
