Protest uniforms at Robert Geller Fall 2017 collection, New York Men’s Fashion Week
The Eighties have been the decade of pop music and the Cold War (or at least the end of it), hairspray and student activism. And Robert Geller knows it well. “Love and War, his Fall 2017 collection presented during New York Men’s Fashion Week, spreads a political message. The clothes he designed are protest gears with camo stamps (grey, violet, blue, black) and combat boots. Military references are everywhere, from the oversize epaulet to the nylon bomber jackets.
