Stand up for your country: Public School Fall 2017 at New York Fashion Week
Public School‘s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne didn’t designed a Fall 2017 collection but a proper political manifesto. “Make America New York” and “We need leaders” were the slogans on the red caps and on some pieces we saw on the runway that well summed up the spirit and the idea behind the brand’s new proposals.
We saw also distorted proportions and deconstructed garments and the sporty aesthetic that characterizes the brand and that this season incorporates the designers’s call-to-action.
