THE SCOUTMASTER GUIDES THE BOYS IN THE SPIRIT OF MONCLER
Maybe Thom Browne was a Junior Woodchuck as a child or he wanted to be, because his Spring/ Summer 2017 Collection is all about Boyscouts. The evocative show takes place in an imagined Scout Camp with green grass, a campfire and tents, arranged in lines. The Boyscout uniform collection is divided then in three main groups: the first khaki group, the Khaki/white/green/brown check group and formal group in brown and forest green. Getting up from cub scouts to highest ranks the style becomes more elegant while technical details such as water repellent fabrics, laser cuts, thermobonding, embroideries and deep box pleated pockets star throughout the collection. Classical fabrics such as washed cotton and cashmere alternate with technical fabrics as light Cordura or Nylon Ripstop are used to create the main pieces of Moncler that we all know: cardigans, polo shirts, trousers and shorts.
