Maison Margiela Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection between communication and creativity
Pure state of creativity. John Galliano, creative director for Maison Margiela, talks about today in the last Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection presented in Paris. It is getting harder and harder to be creative in a time when we are obsessed by social media and new technology so the designer wanted to impress this on his creations. Schizophrenic cuts, deconstructed shapes and asymmetrical decorations. There are cultural and political allusions in the collection but most of all Galliano wanted to express his creativity, that is what he does best.
