ALWAYS UNEXPECTED
Jean Paul Gaultier has an out of the ordinary imaginary. His creations have always strong anthropological connotations – take the vitamin colours of the dresses, the Afro hairstyles – and even when it doesn’t seem, his style remains linked to the burlesque and the circus that this Enfant Terrible adores.
In this collection, flower-women wearing opulent headdresses are intersecting dark mistresses dressed in wooden voile and satin.
The result? A theatrical kaleidoscope, consecrated by one of the greatest interpreter of the catwalk, Anna Cleveland.
