GIVENCHY’S SACRED AND PROFANE
In an open area, an esoteric stage beaten by rhythmic music – references to human ancestries – the snakes forged by Givenchy move. With these lacquered hairdos, which resemble flights of fancy of the master Serge Lutens, one by one the models come down the stairs and start to slide in an outdoor amphitheater.
They are wearing deep green or iridescent fabric that resembles the skin scales of reptiles.
Backpacks instead of briefcases, pouchettes sewn directly onto jackets, axillary satchels: green is so confirmed as the dominant color for the incoming spring/summer season.
At the conclusion of the parade, it couldn’t miss the icon models of the brand: Natalia Vodianova and Maria Carla Boscono over all.
