In the American Great Plains: Coach 1941 Fall 2017 at New York Fashion Week
As we already saw during these first days of New York Fashion Week, a bunch of designers both foreign and local have dedicated their collections to America, or it provided inspiration for them (see Calvin Klein or Public School). Stuart Vevers, creative director of Coach 1941 since 2013, followed this tendency and designed a Fall 2017 collection that features shearling coats, gingham-pattern long dresses and leather details. The setting for the fashion show worked together with the garments to tell a story and to re-create an environment as wild as a prairie.
