Enter the fairy garden: Christian Dior Spring 2017 Haute Couture
There was something enchanted and dreamy in the Christian Dior Spring 2017 Couture collection that Maria Grazia Chiuri presented in the gardens of Musée Rodin in Paris. The collection marked Chiuri’s debut at Haute Couture week. The location for the fashion show was a fantastic green maze, a forest inhabited by fantastic animals and fairies. The models walked the catwalk like nymphs to the strains of Saint – Saëns’s “Le carnaval des animaux”. Long and short capes, hooded Bar jackets, velvet, airy gowns and beautiful animal-like masks and hats.
