Raf Simons’s Calvin Klein debut: Fall 2017 collection at New York Fashion Week
As anticipated by Calvin Klein by Appointment, the new made to measure service, whose campaign was shot by Willy Vanderperre, and by the change of the iconic logo, Raf Simons came as a storm at New York Fashion Week with his debut Fall 2017 collection as new chief creative officer for the American Brand. New vision, new aesthetic.
“Calvin Klein is not only iconic underwear and jeans – it’s about so much more” said the Belgian designer and he confirmed it, fulfilling the promise. There was a lot on the runway: cowboy’s jackets, Wall Street suits and long double-breasted coats covered with PVC that immediately would take your mind back to the 2000 recalling the pervy and obsessive atmosphere of American Psycho. There was something erotic in the collection, something unsaid also.
