Over the past few years, Seoul has been working to be an influencial fashion capital and some of the results of the latest Fall 2017 collections presented during Seoul Fashion Week have proved that.

 

Bourie‘s Eun-Hye Jo focused on refined tailoring for her Fall 2017 collection with stripes as main theme all over the items. The brand, founded in 2014, has always distinguished itself by presenting collections with contradictory elements and finding inspiration from different forms of art.
Blurred lines between menswear and womenswear on Blindness Fall 2017 runway. The designer Kyu-Yong Shin combined music references, contemporary art and street culture and the result are sharp silhouettes, glittery details and an attitute that comes from the 70’s.
Hongbum Kim, Cres. E. Dim.‘s creative director, presented a streetwear-ish menswear and womenswear Fall 2017 collection, featuring velvet bomber jackets and oversized hoodies, with a strong political message behind about unity within the country.
