Sci-fi Fall 2017 collection by Christopher Kane at London Fashion Week
Space, futuristic technology and machinery have been a spotted trend in the past two months’s collections, both menswear and womenswear. Christopher Kane, presenting his Fall 2017 collection during London Fashion Week, reconsidered this theme declining it according to his edgy aesthetic.
Female factory workers provided inspirations for the collection and for the woman of the next season who is vigorous and assertive.
We saw traditional fabrics (damask) alongside holographic foil lace, contemporary silhouettes, Gainsborough silk.
