The best from Copenhagen Fashion Week FW17

Denmark is the country of the minimalistic aesthetic, clean lines and influential designs. The association with architecture and industrial design is immediate, while fashion is taking time to establish itself as a significant voice within the industry.

However what we saw during Copenhagen Fashion Week, when have been presented the next Fall 2017 collections, it was absolutely contemporary and strong, merging womenswear and menswear.

Cecil Bahnsen is probably one of the most interesting brand right now for its originality The designer presented a romantic collection in black and white with crisp long shirts and embellished garments, perfectly constructed.

Won Hundren FW17 collection is the result of references that the brand is absorbing from what is happening today in fashion, in the cut and silhouettes as in the styling. Raincoats, motorcycle racing suit, oversized outwear.

VIA Design, the largest fashion, design and business school in Scandinavia, presented the collections designed the students and what we saw on the runway was absolutely original and communicative. Provocative deconstructed garments, both womenswear and menswear.

MUF10 played with streetwear and couture creating pieces that are perfect for the underground nightlife of Copenhagen.
