Long live Haute Couture! Jean Paul Gaultier presented his playful and ironic Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection in Paris breaking the seriousness and the solemnity that connote the industry these days. Because it is hard to make Couture in a time when the world has lost the will to imagine, but the “Enfant Terrible” of French fashion seems to have always the right solution. Crazy silhouettes, big-shouldered and draped dresses on the catwalk have been shown old-fashion way, giving time to the audience to appreciate and identify the pieces.
