Elie Saab‘s taste of East: Spring 2017 Haute Couture
Elie Saab presented a Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection that is airy and intimate. We saw translucent light fabrics and elegant architectural shapes and beautiful embroidered gowns. The inspiration for the embroideries was a precise time in the Middle East History, the beginning of 20th century in Egypt, a prosperous time when everyone was able to express creativity. And so we saw embroidered crystals shaping palm trees, clouds and sailing boats on the Nile river.
