Reflecting Chanel: Spring 2017 Haute Couture
Karl Lagerfeld designed a Chanel Spring 2017 Haute Couture collection that was simple and clean, plus feathers. The mirrors that surrounded that catwalk and the audience recalled the Art Decò environment and design of Coco’s atelier in Paris, an extraordinary setting that highlighted the collection and gave a sense of preciousness. The fist looks Lagerfeld presented were Chanel suits, a sign that the French maison has started to think of concrete women (and not only Hollywood stars). Then sparkles, glitters, evening dresses, crinoine skirts and the best of Chanel couture.
