Paris is burning: Haider Ackermann Fall 2017 at Paris Men’s Fashion Week
Haider Ackermann presented, during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, his Fall 2017 collection almost in the dark. The lights allowed to see the silhouettes of the clothes that were barely visible but the attitude was clear. A dark harlequinesque collection.There was energy and glam vibes in the garments: leather pants, tartan jackets, mixed materials pieces. Some pants, coats and tuxedos had a fake burn on them. The collection had also a schizophrenic and ambigous nature that cannot help but remember a villain like Two-Face (Batman) in the colours, textures and the double-sided style.
