A TEA WITH ALBERTO MORO
Milan met Kyoto at Appartamento Lago, located in Via Brera, Milan.
Here the schedule of the event.
At 2 p.m. there was the Opening Exhibition of objects of design of the greatest craftsmen of Kyoto, in partnership with Hands on Design (among the exhibiting craftsmen: Kaikado, Shuji Nakagawa, Kanaami Tsuji, Hiroaki Usui, Warousoku Dayo and Shibaji Ochiai).
From 3 to 5 p.m. the guests could plan their trip with the Kyoto Tourism Ambassador for Italy (thanks to him, Marco Massarotto, everyone managed to browse books and guides and ask for advice to find hotels, restaurants, art galleries… or listen to stories and secrets of the ancient Japanese capital).
From 4 p.m. the ceremonial with the creamy green Matcha tea (something to try!) and traditional Japanese sweets has taken place, with the precious collaboration of the tea master Alberto Moro.
At 6 p.m. has started the happy hour with the tasty sake offered by Gekkeikan.
What have we seen? A true interest in Japanese food, lifestyle and landscapes. We recommend to stay tuned with the next events about Japan, to breathe a surprising culture… not that far as anyone might believe.
