From New York, the Fall 2018 collection

An intimate collection was showcased by Hugo Boss brand in New York City, made of a few outfits for Fall/Winter 2018. It’s the artistic director Jason Wu‘s farewell, who is leaving the German brand guidance after five years of commitment.

This time, he just wanted to celebrate modern femininity with a well-made tailored collection, as he explained backstage: It wasn’t about a bigger concept, it was just about making clothes that women covet, that are beautifully made, beautifully tailored and that highlight the company’s deep roots in tailoring.”

The most interesting details from the lineup: the quilted effect realized on the top of a dress; the contrasting-coloured piping and jacket rever of a blue suit, a silk delicate pleated yellow dress, and a big wool sweater provided with a zipped collar.
