A pragmatic tradition for Men’s FW18 collection

A contemporary collection was designed by Lucas Ossendrijver for the French maison Lanvin, taking into account the current market demand. Traditional staples as suits and coats are modernized and enriched with sportswear and utilitarian pieces; features that will persuade the most pragmatic and globetrotter gentleman.

The Men’s FW18 collection is realized with masculine fabrics par excellence – tweeds and checkered woolen flannel – that are mixed with nylon and technical fabrics.

The classical tailored suit is here dismantled and redefined by new practical details. Parkas, capes, coats, vests and trousers are provided with all types of pockets. Fastenings with buttons or zippers are lateral or diagonally-arranged.

Tilted across the body, the knits are conceived in slightly asymmetric silhouettes.

The artisanal touch is visible in the hand-painted shearling sweater.
