From NYFW, the Fall 2019 collection

Nancy Wake was a French WWII female resistance fighter, better known with the nickname “White Mouse” because of her elusiveness and impossibility to catch. She’s the image of the heroine that Nicky Zimmermann portrayed in her Fall 2019 collection, where femininity and toughness are perfectly gathered in a single individual.

As contrasts coexist in Nancy’s persona, in a similar way the collection combines opposing matchings, with a slightly Victorian-like look. Bows, ruffles and rouches to excess, alongside floral prints, lace, tulle and plumetis, are counterbalanced by leather bomber jackets, executive trench coats and high-waisted trousers.

Take a look at the details we captured on Zimmermann’s runway!
