A Philadelphia story: Tory Burch Fall 2017 at New York Fashion Week

Tracy Lord, Katherine Hepburn’s character in “The Philadelphia Story”, directed by George Cukor, provided inspiration for the Fall 2017 collection designed by Tory Burch. The designer depicted a fearless and irreverent woman, just like Hupburn/Lord in the movie, and the aesthetic and the “smell” of the protagonist’s wardrobe, designed by Adrian, larger-than-life Hollywood costume designer, found their way into the natural embellishments of the long and short dresses, into the wide sleeves and the pussy bow blouses.

Winter white furry, long and waist-high coats, decorated with the TB monogram, opened the fashion show.
