Oriental-looking and precious fabrics for FW18

In his latest Men’s and Women’s fashion show that took place in Paris, the talented designer Haider Ackermann puts in the foreground a luscious collection for Fall-Winter 2018. Silk, velvet and brocades are employed in a wide range of suits, trousers, robes and kimonos, giving the collection a refined look.

Made-in-Italy silk is printed with Japanese-looking blossom floral and used to conceive shirts and pleated trousers; yet it is visible on the underside of the jacket’s rever, as if a destruction process is underway.

Shining silk is also used to create zig zag quilting linings that glimpse with the movement.

Floral embroideries run across the sweaters and kimonos surfaces, and velvet brocades give life to sumptuous-looking track jackets.
