The belgian Martin Margiela has always stood out for breaking with tradition, but this time he has really surpassed himself with iconoclasm.
His clothes are unfinished artifacts, where retouching lines are still visible on the fabrics … when these are not brutally torn, like the jackets to wear only on one shoulder.
Some reference to Vivienne Westwood’s homeless fashion are evident… maybe that Margiela is being confirmed as the new king of punk?
