A heritage aesthetic for the Men’s and Women’s collection

An exquisite heritage aesthetic distinguishes the Fall/Winter 2019/20 collection conceived by Filippo Scuffi. No wonder a brand like Daks – that boasts 125 years of history in high tailoring – has its strong point in traditional fabrics as woolen tweed, glen plaids and pied-de-poule, skilfully handled and declined in coats, trousers, double-breasted blazers and vests.

The elegant masculine wardrobe includes also knits aplenty: mohair wool with Scottish diamond motifs is used to conceive sweaters and turtlenecks.

For each masculine outfit, the collection offers a preposition of its feminine equivalent: the tailored suits transform then into twin-sets with skirts; dresses maintain their formal imprint, with a clean-cut silhouette and big pleated pockets with flaps. A ladylook touch is added in the shirts, equipped with a rétro pussy bow and floral-printed, often paired with high-waisted trousers and wide capes.
