Every year, on February and August, Copenhagen hostes the biggest fashion week in the Nordic Region: interesting Danish and international designers have presented their spring summer 2018 creations, young talents or established brands occupy the runways, meanwhile, the trade fairs, CIFF, CIFF KIDS, CIFF Raven and Revolver boast upwards of 1,100 exhibitors representing international collections in all categories of style.
Scandinavian fashion is known for its outstanding take on design that mixes classy silhouettes with to playful aesthetics. A contemporary approach to fashion, both menswear and womenswear, is expressed in fresh lines, innovative fabrics and sharp color palette.
Among all the creatives, three are the names that stand out: Charlotte Eskildsen’s idea for Designers Remix (on the left) is mixing feminine lines with an androgynous vibe, sophisticated and ambiguous; floral details and a focus on outerwear for Lala Berlin (in the middle) trenches and fluid young dresses; flowers, check and stripes at Munthe (on the right) brand known for the high quality of its products.
