While Frank L. Baum was writing his masterpiece The widzard of Oz, published in 1900, he was thinking about his contemporary political facts. The hurricane, the witch the land of Oz, everything was a symbol.
2017. Ashish Gupta designed a colourful Fall 2017 (to say the least) collection that’s a strong political statement and that grabbed inspiration from the critical spirit of the novel by Baum.
All-inclusive, gay friendly: rainbow shirts, rainbow pants, rainbow skirts, rainbow pijamas.
The models walked on a sparkling yellow brick runway and their makeup became fundamental in the characterization of the parts.
